Learn how to create, rearrange and resize tiles, pin and unpin apps, and use the charms bar in the Microsoft Windows 8 operating system, by taking “Windows 8: Getting Started,” which is a new course being offered by the continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College on Tuesdays, Jan. 22 and 29, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
This course will also cover how Windows 8 works for mobile and touch devices and how to navigate by touch, as well as using apps from the Windows Store and syncing data to the Microsoft SkyDrive.
