The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering a free allied health careers open house on Thursday, April 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in Room 105 of Henson Hall at the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury.
Information about Wor-Wic’s allied health courses and allied health occupations such as certified nursing, dental and medical office assisting will be presented. Other allied health occupations to be covered include diagnostic (ICD-10) and procedural (CPT) coding, personal trainer, and pharmacy, phlebotomy and EKG technicians. Registration information, attendance requirements and prerequisites will also be provided.
A question and answer session and tours of the certified nursing assistant laboratories will follow the presentation.
