The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation recently held a 5K Run/Walk, along with the 2013 Law Enforcement Team Cup Challenge, at the college campus in Salisbury.

The Salisbury Police Department won the Law Enforcement Team Cup Challenge for the third year in a row.

With a time of 18:45, the overall male winner of the 5K race portion of the event was Martin Rodriguez-Ibarra of Selbyville, Del. The overall female winner was Kathleen Nichols, 14, of Hebron, with a time of 21:55.

Runners ranged in age from eight to 68.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the students of Wor-Wic.
