Twenty-seven jail and correctional officers from Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, Caroline and Talbot counties graduated in the 90th entrance-level class of the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy (ESCJA) operated by Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Graduation exercises, which were held in Guerrieri Hall on the college campus, featured a commencement address by Kathleen S. Green, warden at the Eastern Correctional Institution.

Donald Rollyson Jr., assistant director of the ESCJA, presided at the ceremony. Awards of excellence were presented by agency representatives.

Graduates included Forrest A. Devine Jr. and Sandra R. Edelen of the Wicomico County Department of Corrections, Jennifer K. Albert, Susan A. Dickerson and Jenna M. McGoogan of the Ocean City Police Department, Shaun T. Polk and Stephanie P. Ridgway of the Somerset County Detention Center, George D. Benjamin, Kenya T. Corbin, Carl W. Davenport Jr., David D. Dorman, Vincent J. Dorsi III, Anthony V. Johnson, John M. Lee, Paul J. Leimbach, Tiara A. Murphy, Kenneth H. Newton, Robert O. Rentschler, Matthew T. Riggin, Mariah J. Utz, Dina L. Williams, Duren T. Williams, Robert W. Williams and Erica M. Wright of the Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI), Roland A. Fitzgerald of the Caroline County Jail and Detention Center, and Thomas C. Lally and Mark W. Pritchett Jr. of the Talbot County Detention Center.
