Dr. Upul Senaratne
Wor-Wic Community College recently welcomed Dr. Upul Senaratne of Salisbury as an assistant professor of biological and physical sciences.
Before coming to Wor-Wic, he taught physics, astronomy and engineering courses at Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque, N.M. He has more than 12 years of teaching experience, including the University of Toledo in Ohio, Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich., and the University of Toronto Scarborough in Canada.
Senaratne received his bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, his master’s degree in physics from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and his doctoral degree in physics from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich.
