Free poetry reading to be held Oct. 26

The public is invited to attend “An Evening with Vietnam War Writer W.D. Ehrhart” on Friday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m., in Guerrieri Hall at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Poet and writer Dr. W. D. Ehrhart is a Marine Corps veteran who was featured in the recent Ken Burns and Lynn Novick documentary, “The Vietnam War.” His most recent books are “Praying at the Altar” and “W. D. Ehrhart in Conversation: Vietnam, America and the Written Word.” Ehrhart teaches English and history at the Haverford School in Pennsylvania.
