Irish Blessing to perform on March 4

In celebration of Irish-American heritage month, Irish Blessing will perform traditional Irish music and dance on Wednesday, March 4, at 12:30 p.m., on the first floor of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

The Srour family quartet includes Jim on drums and Cushla on piano, whistle and flute, along with their sons, Jonathon on the flute and Joshua on the fiddle.

Jonathon is a four-time tour member of Michael Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance,” a cast member in “Riverdance” and a current performer in the group, “Hammerstep,” which recently appeared on “America’s Got Talent.”

Joshua has competed in world championships for music and dance, and has qualified twice at the New Jersey “Fleadh Cheoil,” an Irish music competition.
