The Wor-Wic Community College Foundation recently welcomed Greg Barfield of Westover, Sandra S. Fitzgerald-Angello and Galen Gardner of Salisbury, Anna Giles of Berlin and Lisa Rinnier of Bishopville, as new members of the board of directors.
Greg Barfield
Barfield is the information technology manager for AWB Engineers in Salisbury. He is a member and past chairman of the deacon board of the Faith Fellowship Assembly of God in Crisfield. Barfield volunteers with the baseball team at Holly Grove Christian School and previously volunteered with the Pocomoke Little League. He is a graduate of Broadwater Academy in Exmore, Va., and attended Eastern Shore Community College in Melfa,Va. He and his wife, Dana, have two sons, Kyle and Jacob.
Sandra S. Fitzgerald-Angello
Fitzgerald-Angello is vice president and dealer operator of Pohanka of Salisbury. She serves on the board of directors for Stop the Violence of Wicomico County and the Civic Center Commission. She is a member of the Salisbury University Perdue School of Business Advisory Board, the American Cancer Society Leadership Council, Green Hill Country Club and the Greater Salisbury Committee. Fitzgerald-Angello received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park. She is married to George Angello, and she has three children and two grandchildren.
Galen Gardner
Gardner is vice president of Dennis Sales Ltd. in Salisbury. He is a member of the St. Francis de Sales Parish in Salisbury. He is a co-founder of the Fruitland Soccer Club, and currently serves as its vice president. Gardner received his bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., and his master’s degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He and his wife, Julia, have three children, Grace, Jack and Ansley.
Anna Giles
Giles is a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch in Ocean City. She is a member of the Ocean City Young Professionals, and the Ocean City Marlin Club and Auxiliary. She is president of the Ocean Pines Chamber of Commerce and former chair of the Ocean City Young Professionals. Giles received her bachelor’s degree from High Point (N.C.) University.
Lisa Rinnier
Rinnier is chief operations officer of the Rinnier Development Co. in Salisbury. She is a member of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and the National Apartment Association. Rinnier received her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh and her master’s degree from Duke University in Durham, N.C. She and her husband, Tyler Malone, have one son, Cruz.
