“Wise Blood” presentation on Feb. 16

In celebration of African-American history month, poet, playwright and screenwriter Robert Earl Price will read from his book, “Wise Blood,” followed by a book sale and signing, on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m., in Room 302 of the Hazel Center at Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury.

Price has authored four books of poetry and several plays and films. His awards include the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)/Theater Communications Group Theatre Residency for Playwrights, a Poetry Creative Writing Fellowship from the NEA and a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. Price is an artist in residence at Washington College and coordinator of the annual Kent County Poetry Festival.
