The continuing education division at Wor-Wic Community College is offering an SAT Prep course for students interested in preparing for the redesigned evidence-based reading, writing and math SAT. The one-week course is being offered Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Fulton-Owen Hall on the college campus on the corner of Route 50 and Walston Switch Road in Salisbury. Students can attend the first session that begins July 25 or the second session beginning on Aug. 1.
Information will be provided about the format of the test and strategies for taking the test. Participants will prepare for questions on reading, editing and revising, and analytical writing. They will also review topics from pre-algebra, algebra and geometry, as well as engage in an SAT simulation.
