Explore areas such as biology, computer studies, web development and more.

STEM includes a wide variety of fields and professions. The education requirements are also quite broad, from a few short courses to doctoral degrees. Most STEM related fields require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree to enter the field, and many will require a graduate degree, licensure or further education to advance in the field. Wor-Wic offers both short-term opportunities to begin work quickly, and long-term certificate and degree options which take several semesters to complete, with many preparing students to transfer to four-year institutions for further study.

The STEM pathway at Wor-Wic is full of opportunities to begin or advance a career in biology, chemistry, computer technology, engineering, game development, information security, pharmacy or a variety of other areas.

Jason Doan
Wor-Wic is a small campus filled with amazing people and staff. The small classes are one thing I really liked. I had a chance to get to know my classmates more and especially my instructors. Professor Nina and Dr. Senaratne were my favorites, who fueled my interest in engineering. Professor Nina has shown the beauty of math which is the 'heart' of everything we do and see in this world. Dr. Senaratne gave me the curiosity of figuring things out, the passion in having knowledge and its power.
